Produced by Wild West Films and Directed by Bill Scott - "Saffron Threads" – tells the story of 17th century travellers from Catalonia who take refuge in a Cornish farmhouse and discover a botanical link with their homeland.  It was a Writers Guild Award Nomination, Barcelona Short Film Festival Finalist in 1994.
