Our Guns

We have a vast collection of fully working replica Blackpowder Artillery, our earliest gun dates to the late 14th Century and our collection continues to the mid 19th century.

Starting with the replica of the Bodiam Bang, pictured here just about to fire, this is a late 14th century bombard and has a calibre of some 36 cm.

We also have several large Bombardelles of the mediaeval period, pictures of which can be seen in our Gallery.

Our Ribauldaquin is a nine-barrelled gun that can shoot up to 200 bullets at a time and was the fore–runner of the machine gun.
